Milling of rebar notches on cemented carbide rolls.
Most common is PCD (Polycrystalline Diamond) with full face PCD layer
Stepped execution is less frequently required – small PCD tips are brazed on a cemented carbide shaft.
All tips are executed in special micrograinsized grades with polished surface and precision ground cutting edge, providing best performance on all carbide grades for rebar rolling (30% binder down to 15% binder) due to:
• exceptionally high wear resistance
• outstanding impact strength
• very good surface finish
• record tool life
